As a waste collection driver at SSAM, you play an important role in daily environmental work. Your main tasks include:

• Collecting waste from households and businesses in Växjö municipality.
• Meeting customers with a friendly and professional attitude – you are an important ambassador for SSAM in your contact with residents.

The employment covers the period from June to August. Working hours are during the day, with some on-call duty for weekends and public holidays.

This job is suitable for you who want to contribute to a more sustainable society while working outdoors with freedom under responsibility.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who:

• Is responsible, service-oriented, and flexible.
• Has a positive attitude and enjoys working both independently and in a team.
• Has good physical fitness, as the work is physically demanding.

Requirements:

• At least a C driver's license
• Digital tachograph card
• Valid YKB (Professional Competence Certificate)
• Swedish language skills, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience in waste management or similar service professions
• CE driver's license
• Computer skills
